Paris to Munich

This was our smallest photo day! The morning was spent packing before we left for the train station. We had a 1pm train to Munich. The journey is a long one, about hours but we wanted to travel this way so we could see more of the countryside! Plus, train travel is so easy in Europe it seemed silly not to do it any other way. We had a small snafu and got off at the wrong station. Oops. It said Munchen (Munich) but it turns out there are two train stations in Munich, a small one (the one we got off at) and then the main Munchen Hauptbahnhof (Munich Train Station) that we should've gotten off at. Oh well. We ended up taking a taxi to the apartment which worked out just fine as well. The apartment was awesome, one of our favorites. It's only a couple blocks from the main strain station, 1/2 a block from the U-Bahn (subway), and was quite large. It has a foyer with a closet, a bathroom with two sinks, a large bedroom with a desk and three closets, a kitchen area, dining area, and living room. Photos to follow.

We went exploring for some food and settled on the first thing we saw (by then it was about 8:30 and we were just HUNGRY!). So we ate pizza from Mama Pizza. It was quite good! Then we hit the hay....it was a light day, and our feet were definitely thanking us, but we were quite wore out!
