I don't want to write a whole lot because I'm still on vacation. And to be perfectly honest, it is a pain in the rear to upload photos to Blogger! So I'm going to do a couple different posts to get them all up and I'll give short descriptions if needed. :) Vacation has been great thus far! We are headed to Mackinac Island tomorrow and will have a bunch more awesome pics to share after that. So stay tuned!
Side Note: It seems silly to get so excited and take some of these pictures since I lived near all of this stuff most of my life! But I never realized how lucky I was until I was transplanted to the middle of nowhere in Kansas with nothing like this nearby!! hahaha. Anyways, I figured since we don't live in Michigan anymore we can be official tourists when we go to Michigan so I took pictures everywhere. LOL
Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. This is where the Grand Rapids Griffins play (farm team for the Red Wings). Woot!
The BOB in Grand Rapids. We used to LOVE going here when we lived in Muskegon. They have a nightclub, steakhouse, piano bar, comedy club, etc all in this building. It was great.
Lake Michigan & Pere Marquette Beach -- Muskegon, MI I can't believe we used to live only 3 miles from this. Can you believe how lucky we were?
It was pretty windy and overcast on Sunday so the water was pretty choppy! Made for some good waves though.
And the choppy water made for some good splashing up on the pier. We got pretty wet.
