Pictures from Monday

The pictures in the next few posts were from Monday. We went to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes with my brother and nephew. I've been there a million times and Jim has been there before, but Jim and Chase had never gone on a Mac Wood's Dune Ride so I figured it was time to do that. We had a lot of fun. Then we went to a lighthouse nearby. Enjoy. More to come. :)

I know there are sand dunes in Colorado but I guarantee these are better (I might be a little biased though). There are 2,000 acres of rolling sand dunes and they are partitioned off into 3 sections. One section is rented by Mac Woods for the dune rides, one section is for pedestrians only and the 3rd section is for macho men to take their macho vehicles up on the hills and test them. That is the section we usually go to (either to watch or to ride on) but we didn't have time to visit that part this time around.
