Ever since we got the Wii, Jim has bowled and played tennis every night before he goes to bed. He's gotten pretty darn good at it too (although he was good in real life also). Every once in awhile I'll play a game with him but I really suck...both in real life and on the Wii. Anyways, a week or two ago we bowled a game and I totally kicked his butt!! I had to take a picture of it because who knows if it will ever happen again! It is my highest score ever! We have a bunch of fun with it...In fact, we're planning on having a housewarming/Wii bowling party when we get moved! That should be a blast. Anyways, here's the pic!

So we're down to 42 days until closing! I am getting so excited! The title paperwork and appraisal came in today. SO EXCITING!!! I started packing last weekend and came to the conclusing that 1. We need a heck of a lot more boxes. And 2. It's going to take forever to get all of our crap packed up. :) I think I'll share the dining room and laundry room today. :) Here you go!

House Pictures

So I was debating on which pictures of the house to show everyone next...But since you've seen the front of the house, you might as well see the back! So here's the back of the house and the great room!

We have a busy, busy week filled of hockey! We have Roadrunners games tonight, tomorrow, Friday & Saturday. Jim plays on Thursday and Sunday. Plus the radio station I work for has our annual Bridal Fair this weekend so needless to say I'll be sooooo busy this week! I still have to do a couple of scrapbook pages this week for the Amazing Digi-Scrap Race too...I haven't shared the last couple because, well honestly, I don't like them much and so they're probably not worth sharing. :) Sorry, but it's the truth. So hopefully I'll have some mojo this week and will make some awesome pages to share!

Anyways, that's it...I'll post more pics of the house as we go on...48 days until closing day! Anybody want to come pack for me???? :)

Oh happy day!

Soooo after much decision making regarding building or buying a home we decided on buying a home. We put an offer in on a house and just couldn't get the deal to work so we ended up looking at a different house today and put an offer in...and GOT IT! YAHOO!!!! This is our new home:

We are so excited! It has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a wonderful front porch, deck off of the dining room, fireplace, fenced in backyard (not huge, but good enough for us), full walk-out basement (unfinished right now, but we will be finishing it with a family room and another code bedroom). All the rooms are REALLY good size. It is just perfect for us and everything worked out wonderfully! I have a couple more pictures that were on the online listing but they're not great...and they're at work so I'll have to upload them later. We close on March 9 and take possession on March 11! Only 57 days to pack. YIKES!!! I better get crackin!

It is on a street named Glendale which is SO PERFECT. The first house that Jim and I lived in together was actually on Glendale in Salina! PLUS as many of you know, my grandfather's names are Glenn and Dale. So sweet. And Jim said I was silly about this, but when Chase and my Mom were going to visit us last summer and I was talking to Chase about it on the phone, he asked if we had a basketball hoop. I said no and he said in such a sweet voice that it was ok and he would still come out and visit. Well guess what buddy, we have a basketball hoop now. :) I think that means that he and Mom need to come back out for a visit, right????

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve and New Years Day! We've been a little busy since Christmas...We had a Roadrunners hockey game on New Years Eve and then the Roadrunners party afterwards. Jim's parents came to town on New Years Day for the weekend. I worked on Friday (Jim's birthday) and we had another Roadrunners game that night. Saturday was spent in Kansas City...ate yummy Cheesecake Factory and went to a casino. There was another Roadrunners game that night but we didn't make it. :( Sunday was very exciting...we went to look at some houses that a builder that we've been dealing with has built...We are buying/building a house this Spring and so we're in the beginning stages of all of that! It's very exciting, scary, fascinating, nerve-wracking, fun, etc. I feel like I have every possible emotion running through me! Anyways, we should have some very exciting news within the next few days regarding that, so stay tuned for more information and pictures of course! :)

So my sister-in-law and I do this thing called the Amazing Digi-Scrapping Race which started this week. We make up a team and there are sites around the net that have these challenges posted for us...There are 2 challenges a week and they have to be completed by Sunday. Each challenge has a wonderful prize and there's a grand prize at the end also. I love doing this because it really makes me step out of my comfort zone and try something that I probably would not have normally. Anyways, here's my first page...our challenge was to take a photo and tear it into at least 3 pieces. This is the first page I've done for our Orlando trip.
