I don't really have much to update on today...but I do want to give a shout out to Kala...I've been thinking about you all day chica and hope you are doing ok. But if you're up reading this I'm going to kick your butt---get back in bed! Love you!

So really the only thing going on right now is my excitement that I can't seem to contain...Part of my birthday gift this year is flying my Mom and Chase (nephew) out here for a few days in July. They get here on the 10th and I can not wait! We are going to have SO much fun and I am just counting down the days (15 to go)! Ummm...this weekend is Country Stampede and all of us radio employees are pretty much required to work a shift over the weekend so that's the plan for Saturday. The forecast changed a bit and shows that it will only be about 86 so that's a plus! Much better than the 90's we had today! As long as the humidity stays away we'll be okay! Anyways, that's it for now!

Oh wait...one more thing.
As you know, Friday was my birthday and my BFF Kala's birthday was actually Saturday...So Saturday morning we went and got pedicures along with Kala's friend, Mindi. It was great, relaxing, fun and oh so girly. :) So here's a cute picture of our finished toes.

So today's my birthday! Yay. But honestly, I'm a little bored. LOL. I mean, today has been good...I took a half day off of work because Jim and I were going to go to Kansas City and meet some friends at The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Well they canceled on us so we didn't go to KC because we really didn't have anything else to do there. And I did get some good stuff in the mail...The book I ordered from Amazon came (Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich...I looooove this series so I'm very excited to get this book!) and an order I placed with E.L.F. Cosmetics came in....AND the new Angel Company Inspiration Book & Catty came in the mail today! So that was exciting but now I'm bored. Nothing to do. lol. It's rough getting old. So here I sit, bored to death and on my birthday no less. How pathetic.

Soooo, here it is. My first post on my very own blog. How exciting. To be honest, I don't have a whole lot of plans for this blog...I'll be figuring it all out as I go along. You can expect to hear about things that are going on in mine and Jim's lives, hear about things I love, things I hate...things that make me laugh and probably even cry. I'll post lots of pictures and share my scrapbook pages and there will probably be lots of rambling too. I hope to post updates frequently, so be sure to check back often!
